Rezulin was a drug used by many physicians to
manage Type II diabetes. It is an oral anti- hyperglycemic agent.
Its effect was to reduce the bodys insulin resistance. Warner
Lambert, Inc manufactured the drug. The FDA recalled Rezulin from
the marketplace in March of 2000. Rezulin has been associated with
an increase in liver and hepatic disease, including increased liver
enzymes, irreversible liver damage, death and live transplants.
If you have
taken Rezulin for Type II diabetes you should consult a physician and have
liver function tests performed. You may want to seek out legal
advice as to whether you have a claim against your doctor or
Warner-Lambert. For that you should consult a lawyer. We are
now accepting Rezulin related cases and would be happy to talk to you
about the potential for litigation.
